Our Mission
Founded in 2008 as a grassroots effort to meet local needs, Carry the Light has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving communities through food distribution, community support, and hands-on assistance.
True to our name, we believe that even in difficult times, people can carry light into their own communities—and into the lives of others.
We are committed to being present where help is needed most: bringing practical support, restoring hope, and strengthening communities one family at a time.
