Furthering Good Will

Carry the Light was founded in 2008 as a way to help make the world a better place.  Beginning as a grassroots initiative addressing local needs, Carry the Light has grown into a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization with a worldwide impact.

True to its name, Carry the Light helps others share their light with the world. Historically, it has done so by working to meet the needs of the less fortunate through fundraisers, volunteerism, soliciting donations, and simply finding a way to be a Blessing to others. Today, we continue our legacy of service as we develop programs that promote independent, sustainable living.  That’s why we’re exploring solutions to address opportunities in the following areas:

• Education: Helping students find academic, physical, and social/emotional success.
• Housing: Providing people with an affordable, dignified place to live.
• Food Sustainability: Ensuring that our communities have access to safe, fresh, and locally-sourced foods.
